- Do I need to install any software to use Rapmed? No, Rapmed works entirely in your browser. There's no need for any software installation, making it accessible from any device with internet access.
- How do I create an account on Rapmed? You can create an account by visiting the sign-up page at rapmed.net/#/sign-up and following the prompts to register.
- What happens if I forget or I want to change my password? You can reset and change your password by following the "Forgot Password?" link on the login page and following the instructions provided.
- Is Rapmed compatible with all browsers? Rapmed works best with Chrome and Firefox but is also tested with Safari, and Edge. We recommend keeping your browser updated to the latest version for optimal performance.
- What types of files can I upload? You can upload cases in DICOM and JPEG format and presentation slides in PDF format. Please note that when uploading your case in JPEG format, JPEG do not contain information on image order which may lead to wrong image order.
- How do I upload cases? First, create a new presentation by clicking the "Create" button in My Space. Then use the "Upload cases and slides" button within the presentation editor to upload your files.
- Is there a limit to the number of cases I can upload? There is no limit to the number of cases you can upload yet.
- How can I organize my cases? You can create folders in My Space to organize your presentations and cases.
- Can I collaborate with colleagues on Rapmed? Yes, you can add collaborators. In the editor click the arrow down next to the share button and enter the email address of your colleague. If you colleagues has an account he will be added to the presentation and find it in his "shared with me" section.
- How do I start a live presentation? In the editor, click the "Present" button in the top right corner of your presentation. This will generate a QR code and short URL (e.g., rp.md/12345) that your audience can use to join.
- How do I reset statistics for a presentation? In the editor, click the "Statistics" button and select "Reset Statistics." This archives previous responses while maintaining the data for future reference, allowing you to start fresh with a new audience.
- Can my audience join without creating an account? Yes, audience members can join your presentation by scanning the QR code or entering the presentation code at rapmed.net without creating an account.
- How do I add questions to my presentation? In the editor, select a case in your presentation and click the "Add Question" button on the right side. You can create multiple-choice questions and annotation tasks.
- How to start in full screen mode?On windows klick F11 or open the browser menu and enable full screen mode. We are currently working on starting presentation automatically in full screen mode.
- How do I share my cases with others? If you want your audience to pre- or postpare your cases at home, you can use our "Homework Mode". In the editor click on share and copy the secure share link e.g. https://rp.md/v/0Y9F2
- Can I control who has access to my shared cases? Yes, you can set permissions for shared content, choosing between private sharing with specific colleagues or making cases available to all Rapmed users.
- Is my data secure on Rapmed? Yes, all files uploaded to Rapmed are automatically encrypted, anonymized, and compliant with HIPAA and GDPR regulations.
- How does Rapmed handle patient privacy? All DICOM images are automatically anonymized upon upload, removing patient identifiers to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Where is my data stored? Your data is stored on secure servers in the European Union, complying with EU data protection regulations.

- What features are available on mobile devices? Most features are available on mobile, including viewing cases, participating in presentations, and accessing learning materials. Some advanced editing features work best on desktop.
