Getting started
Section titled “Getting started”Do I need to install any software to use rapmed?
No. rapmed works entirely in your browser — no installation needed, on any device with internet access.
How do I create an account?
Go to rapmed.net/#/signup and follow the registration prompts.
What if I forget my password?
Click Forgot password? on the login page and follow the instructions.
Is rapmed compatible with all browsers?
It works best with Chrome and Firefox, and is also tested with Safari and Edge. Keep your browser updated for the best experience.
File management
Section titled “File management”What types of files can I upload?
Cases in DICOM or JPEG format, and presentation slides as PDF. Note: JPEG doesn’t store image order, which can lead to images appearing out of sequence.
How do I upload cases?
Create a new presentation via Create in your workspace, then use Upload cases and slides inside the presentation editor.
Is there a limit on the number of cases I can upload?
Not currently.
How can I organize my cases?
Create folders in your workspace to organize presentations and cases.
Can I collaborate with colleagues on a presentation?
Yes. In the editor, click the arrow next to Share and enter your colleague’s email. If they have an account, the presentation appears in their Shared with me section.
Live presentations
Section titled “Live presentations”How do I start a live presentation?
Click Present in the top right of the editor. This generates a QR code and short URL (e.g. rp.md/12345) for your audience to join.
How do I reset statistics for a presentation?
Click Statistics, then Reset statistics. Previous responses are archived, not deleted, so you can start fresh with a new audience.
Can my audience join without creating an account?
Yes — by scanning the QR code or entering the presentation code at rapmed.net.
How do I add questions to my presentation?
Select a case, then click Add question on the right side. You can create multiple-choice questions and annotation tasks.
How do I present in full screen?
On Windows, press F11 or enable full screen from your browser menu. Automatic full-screen on presentation start is in progress.
Homework mode
Section titled “Homework mode”How do I share my cases for self-paced study?
Use Homework mode: in the editor, click Share and copy the secure share link.
Can I control who has access to shared cases?
Yes — share privately with specific colleagues, or make cases available to all rapmed users.
Security and data protection
Section titled “Security and data protection”Is my data secure on rapmed?
Yes. All uploaded files are automatically encrypted and anonymized, in compliance with HIPAA and GDPR.
How does rapmed handle patient privacy?
All DICOM images are automatically anonymized on upload, removing patient identifiers.
Where is my data stored?
On secure servers in the European Union, in compliance with EU data protection regulations.
Technical support

Our AI assistant can answer most questions immediately — access it via the search bar or the question mark icon in the platform. For further help, contact support@rapmed.net.
How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?

Educational use
Section titled “Educational use”How does rapmed enhance learning for students and residents?
Instructors build interactive presentations where students engage with real cases, answer questions, and get real-time feedback.
Can I use rapmed for research?
Yes — rapmed standardizes and secures case sharing across sites, making multicenter research collaboration easier.
Can I track student progress?
Learning analytics features are currently in development.
Mobile access
Section titled “Mobile access”Can I access rapmed on mobile devices?
Yes, through your mobile browser — view and share cases on the go.
What features are available on mobile?
Most features, including viewing cases, participating in presentations, and accessing learning materials. Some advanced editing works best on desktop.
